What are the types of processing for stamped parts?
Glance over:- Release date:Jan 22, 2025【Big In Small

The processing type of stamped parts mainly refers to the method of using molds and presses to perform plastic deformation on sheet metal, making it into parts with specific shapes and sizes. The following is an overview of CNC stamping processing types:

1、 Main types

(1) Ordinary stamping processing: This is the most common stamping processing method, mainly using conventional stamping machines and molds to apply external force to the sheet metal, causing it to undergo plastic deformation, thereby obtaining the desired shape of the stamped part. This processing method is suitable for large-scale production and has the characteristics of high production efficiency and low cost.

(2)Precision stamping processing: Compared with ordinary stamping processing, precision stamping processing requires higher precision of molds and performance of stamping machines. It can achieve more complex shapes and higher precision stamping parts processing, suitable for products with high requirements for size and shape accuracy.

2、 Characteristics and advantages

(1)  High efficiency: Stamping processing can achieve fast and continuous production, suitable for large-scale production, significantly improving production efficiency.

(2) Low cost: After one-time investment in molds, the single piece cost is low and suitable for large-scale production.

(3) High precision: Through the combination of precision molds and stamping machines, high-precision dimensional control can be achieved.

(4) High material utilization rate: There is less material loss during the stamping process, which can effectively reduce costs.

3、 Precautions

Although CNC stamping machining has many advantages, attention still needs to be paid to the design and manufacturing of molds, the performance of stamping machines, and quality control in the production process during actual machining. At the same time, in order to reduce the impact of noise and vibration generated during the stamping process on the environment and operators, effective noise reduction and shock absorption measures should be taken.

The processing types of CNC stamping parts are diverse and each has its own characteristics. In practical applications, appropriate processing methods should be selected according to specific needs to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
